Heather Tucker
Heather Tucker is an experienced writer, photographer and traveller. Having lived in four countries (USA, Estonia, United Kingdom and the Netherlands) she has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to culture shock, expatriate living and where some of the best places in town to get a bite to eat are.
Heather's writing and photographs have featured in a number of expatriate and international publications and websites, including Expatica, XM Magazine and Inside Twente. You can also take a look at her blog, Cloggie Central, which documents life in the Netherlands as a foreigner.
Prior to embarking in the media world, Heather worked with children, young people and families in both an educational and therapeutic capacity. She was also responsible for the design, delivery and development of a service for children and young people who had been victims and/or witnesses of crime.
Heather's educational background includes Psychology studies, Teaching English as a Foreign Language training and she is currently finishing her Master's degree in Criminology and Criminal Psychology.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys travelling, taking photos, reading, listening to music and starting new projects. She currently resides in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
